Today we learn how vertices are formed using openGL. Using these codes, we can create shapes of different sizes and colours. There are also codings for colours which is glColor3f(1, 0, 0); . The 3 coordinates are RGB colours. In the picture above shows what we have done today for practical 3.

Lecture 2 Review

In lecture 2, we learn abt the importance of RGB colours and how each bits and bytes affect the image. We learn the range of visible light which is from 300+ to 700+ (wavelength). RGB colours are also decided by their number. For example, Red is (1,0,0), Green is (0,1,0) and Blue is (0,0,1).Monitors also have some sort of "coordinates". (0,0) is at the top left hand corner.

First Lecture

In our first lecture, we learn the basics of computer graphics and how graphic images are formed
Things that we are introduce are for example:
What is Computer Graphics?
Where is it used?
When is it being used?
How is it done?
How are images being made and how they are output.
We also need to do a review on a game during our first practical

Description of the game :
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for the PlayStation 3, Windows, and the Xbox 360. The story is centered around a fictional near-future conflict involving the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia, who are fighting against Russian ultranationalists in civil war torn Russia, and rebels that have staged a coup d'état in a small Middle Eastern country. It is told from the perspectives of a United States Marine and British SAS operative, and is set in multiple locations, including the Middle East, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Prypiat, Ukraine. The multiplayer portion of the game features various game modes, and contains a leveling system that allows the player to unlock additional weapons, weapon attachments, and camouflage schemes as they advance
Game Play:
A character can be positioned in one of three stances: standing, kneeling, or prone; each affecting the character's rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. Using cover helps the player avoid enemy fire or recover health after taking significant damage, as there are no armor or health powerups. When the character has taken damage, the edges of the screen glow red and the character's heartbeat increases. If the character stays out of fire, the character can recover. When the character is within the blast radius of a live grenade, a marker indicates the direction of the grenade, helping the player to either flee or toss it back to the enemy
